Re: correct transmission for 6.0
If I may, I have a related question on transmissions.
How do I tell the year and is it a 4L60E or a 4l80E and what torque converter do I use with a 5.3 from a 04 Tahoe.
The yard gave me a engine and transmission, and what looks like a new torque converter.
The engine has 8 bolts and the transmission has 9 bolt holes, the top bolt hole in the engine is plugged.
