I think it would be limited by the small ports of the engine if big power is your goal.
Personally I would say you could go for 350hp before you get to a difficult build.
Lastly if you drive your truck alot a turbo 6 to me you would have to be a fuel miser for a truck. I aquired a 2.3 turbo'd pinto motor with all the good factory stuff, and I am bench racing dropping that in to my F100 project if its running weight is low enough.
