Stripped Threads in Dana 60 Rear Axle Wheel Hub
I was reinstalling my axle into the wheel hub after changing the seal and used the torque specs listed below. I torqued to 115 lb-ft and stripped, may have cracked, one of the threads in the wheel hub. I guess this wheel hub is trashed.
First, what is the correct torque for the axle/hub bolts shown by the arrow so I don't do this again? And what are my options for getting another wheel hub? Can I buy these at the local parts stores? I would think not since it is so old.
