It would be a 292 if the side covers are 6 inches in height. That is the easiest way to check. Or if the fuel pump is in the middle of the block. A 194-230-250 have 4 inch side covers and the fuel pump is directly behind the distributor. Here is a picture of my 292's side covers just to give you an idea...
