The Bus Type Heater does the same as a stock Block Heater. You plug the 110V plug into a electrical socket and it will heat the engine and heater coil. Anything that comes into contact with antifreeze will be heated. Great for cold winter months start up.

My advise is to tear any wiring that doesn't come from the factory out of the truck and if necessary start over. Used Scrap Northern trucks have better wiring harnesses than southern trucks as there not dried out from the heat.

The switch on the dash is the one mounted under the dash to the right of the steering column?

Get yourself a 63 Shop Manual. The American Version has less illustrations than the Canadian version apparently. I have a spare if you need one.
