Get a bill of sale for the cab with the vin# and a bill of sale for the frame with the #, in most states you simply take the bills of sale to the dmv with the assembled parts. And once they verify everything is not stolen theyll assign a new vin#. It wouldnt hurt to check with your local dmv and ask them.
