After I get done with all the body and suspension on my truck, I am going to do an engine swap. Right now it has a TBI 305, and I am going to swap to a 350 with a th350 trans. Since I won't be using the tbi anymore with the new engine, can I discard all of the computer and wiring?

The truck is an 87 R10 305 with what I am guessing is a 700r4 trans.

Also will the trans support be the same for the 700r4 as the th350?
