This one is on the crimped cable assembly and is not meant to be taken off of the cable. Contact "The Right Stuff" (getdiscbrakes.com), or your favorite supplier for a new CABLE. If you're really lucky they might sell you just the retainer, but I don't know how you're going to disassemble/re-assemble the cable.
