i have got a 6.0 and 4l80e with a np 205 in my 77 gmc k3500 crewcab its out of a 2006 gmc 2500hd 2x4 i had to take 2 inches off the rear output shaft of the transmission and used a old turbo 400 205 tcase adapter it had to have a little machining it works so far but i havent gotten to drive it on the road yet cause its been in the body shop. but i dont see no problems there are alot of these swaps going on now with all kinds of t cases i assume you have the 208
