I actually lucked out. A buddy called me up early this morning and asked if I wanted to go to Pick-A-Part because it's half-price day. At first I said no, but I thought that maybe (just maybe) I might be able to find the bracket I need. Lo and behold, I found one in good shape, and the price was right.
