It's pretty simple math...

(width x sidewall height percentage x 2 / 25.4) + rim dia

(295 x .50 x 2 / 25.4) +15 = 26.6" for your old tires

(315 x .35 x 2 / 25.4) + 17 = 25.7" for the new ones

The actual height will be a little different, but not much.
