just want to throw this in.....The column will bolt in the earlier truck, but the rag joint, and wiring harness are different for the ignition (on lower column) and the turn signal/horn harness is a little different. It also depends on if it has dimmer switch on the column, The wiring for that has the same pigtail, but will need to be lengthened to plug back up. You can get the rest to fit with a little work.
