Powder coat is great,been doing it for years. But nothing is indestructible in time. I also paint to save money. The beauty of steel wheels is the fact you can keep refinishing them over and over fairly easily...and cheaply. Most of my steel wheels are over 40 years old and some you can't tell them from new once prepped and coated with whatever
