Howdy,
I wanted to ask board members if pink, yes pink, could have been applied by the factory on a 1971 GMC C/K 1500 Sierra Custom Pickup Truck? Seller claims that the colour is original to the truck. I know that on some passenger cars a custom colour could be applied, but I have never heard of a chevy/gmc being painted in a non-standard colour.
I think of Mary Kay Cadillac's and the odd Lincoln that were painted "pink", and additionally I can think of Camaro's, Corvettes and Firebirds that were delivered in primer, or painted in a colour that wasn't offered for the year.
