Yep, the kind of jacks that you pump the handle up and down -- those are hydraulic -- and they take oil. There's usually a threaded plug of some sort to open up. But ALL of my jacks failed because they wore out. Eventually I added 3 lifts to my garage. Problem solved. Now I rarely use jacks and haven't needed to replace one in quite a while.
