If you want to keep the drum brakes and not move over to dropped spindles (which require disc's), you can do a "dropped arm", which will relocate your ball joint up two inches on the arm. Old school way is to cut the end of the arm off and with plate steel, weld it up 2" higher. I think there are still one or two companies that offer these already done but not 100%.

With you already having DJM arms, this might not be an option, as I have seen this only done with stock arms.

Other option might be a Portorbuilt drop member.
