There are always people interested that want nice rigs cheap so they don't have to put in the blood sweat and tears. Or they're just trying to strike up a conversation. I would rather have someone ask what's under the hood or talk about one they used to have than insult me with a low ball offer.

To cut the conversation shorter and not waste time, throw out a good price as soon as they ask if you're willing to sell.

"Sure, it's for sale for $15k, would you like to take a look at it?" (Or whatever you would be actually willing to take plus a few thousand)

I recently got an offer to buy my K20 Burb as I put a picture of the tires I'm selling mounted on it, but once I named my price they never responded. I wonder why?
