Martinsr, I agree. If you get in a wreck in these old trucks you are going to get hurt. However, the seat belts may help in a fender bender and they may help keep you from being thrown out. I have driven an AD truck for the last 30 years and I am very careful to leave a lot of room when I stop and since none of my trucks have been very fast I usually don't drive very fast.
Seatbelts or not, I hope everyone is careful when driving.
