I can't speak for trucks with small blocks anymore. The headers I have now are hooker #2455 and they tuck up between the framerails. I also use a double-hump crossmember and it works great. If I were you Dave I would order the Hooker #2451 from summit and if you had any trouble with fitment just send them back and eat the shipping...no biggy! They should fit between the framerails.
