Brian, your Hot Rod gene is in remission .

I love driving my '56 TF I6, 4 speed on the back roads but 100 miles is enough to last me a looong while.

On the other hand my '56 GMC is getting a 5.3, 4L60E, 9", IFS, 4 link and air ride and will go anywhere and pull my 25' Airstream. Drive like a modern truck and look cool doing it.

Or I can drive my SSR with Perma-Grin plastered on my face pulling' my 13' Casita.
