No key buzzers came on these trucks because people back then used their noggins better. If you did forget,the consequences taught you to be sure to lake it a point to remember. When they started putting them in,most guys I knew disconnected them because it was just an annoyance. Afterall,who doesn't think about taking their key out when they park? That's why cars don't just have a push button to start. You want to be the only one who can start your vehicle. Plus,if you lock your doors you're screwed. Basically,you're not done driving until you put the key in your pocket. Now that such a devise has become a standard,people have become dependent on them,like many other things
