I recently blew a brake line(steel) on my daily driven truck. Lost all fluid and was about twenty miles from home. Not too far but a long ways without brakes.
I drove home using the ebrake. Left hand pulled the release handle to keep the brakes from locking and the left foot applied the brakes.
Not ideal but they were there and they worked.
My disc conversion will have Emergency Brakes. .
