Here's what I did to my doors....might not be the answer you wanted, but I believe this is the best cure....that bottom seam on the door skin just catches too much moisture over the years and will cause problems down the road. I cut off the bottom 6 inches of the door skin. This gives you plenty of access to the inside of the door...allows you to clean it out and por 15. Then weld on a new skin. While the don't make a patch panel for the barn doors, a good welder could easily use one for the truck doors...it really solves the problem. And keep in mind these doors were really in good shape....there was just no way I was going to put a good paint job on them when I could see all that crap down there waiting to cause problems later.
