Please let us know how it went. I'm about to do the same due to a leaking gasket. Pictures would be appreciated, but it's okay if you can't get any.

I go into many repairs intending to document them. I'll start out with "before" pics, only remembering the "during" and "after" pics hours after I've finished. Oops!

BTW, I have a 71 with a 350engine and 350thm transmission, and I've wondered about that frame too.
