Re: Goldie coming along
Hey Guys, I'll try to find a little time tomorrow to post up a few pictures or I'll send them over to Jim to post.
In the front we weld the flat bottom plate, then the top flat plate we notched so the bag would fit inside when deflated. We did take pictures. The fronts also drop spindled too. It sits the front flat on the ground and the tires touching the factory inners with a 215/70/15. I used the bigger Firestone bag on the front just cause it collapses down better the the AirLift bag.
In the rear we build our own weld in notch, I plate the inside rail for strength and use a 6.5" inside diameter pipe to fit the axle and u-bolts into a little better. I spent a little time with it on the rack just grinding little issues to make sure everything cleared the way I wanted it to. Has a 2" block, Airlift Bags stock locations, Rear end goes thru the bed floor (no kissing it here). But still not crazy like I'm use too. But I think we trimmed it off nicely!!!
Double switch panel, dual needle gauges, 5 gallon tank, 2- ViAirs 444s, 175 pressure switch.
Hope that helps!!!
