Yeah I hate to say it but I'd side with the owner too. I just couldn't see buying something that nice and rare just to cut up to put a dually bed on it. There are still a bunch of these c60's out there. I just bought mine for $1000.
I'd say stay patient and keep an eye on craigslist and other websites.
