Not sure what this means? I routinely use a very low vacuum chamber for aerospace work. To monitor differential pressure we use a manometer. If you can hold negative sustained pressure. After the pump is turned off, You won't have a leak. It's a simple tool to monitor pressure. Did I miss the joke?

I use my gauge set for reading vacuum pressure.
