Electrophoretic Painting Process

I believe that the stock wheels from the factory were e coated as it is commonly referred to. It has a semi gloss look to it and was used on a lot of sheet metal and steel parts such as hood latches, hood hinges, inner fenders, core supports and much more.

I could be wrong but this is what I think.
