Just got the truck back from the painter this morning.Firewall redo and steering column sprayed in base clear...looking good.
I also had the wood brace/box supports tacked to their underside brackets ,now it should be alot easier to r&r the box next time around.
At one point with wood in and box squared,I drilled reference points with a 1/8 bit and dropped locating pins through the holes.
If you have to go on and off with the box as many times as I did....,you will definately want to take the time to do this.All three brace's that rest on the frame are all done this way,I have circled in red to highlight them.
