I just did this to my 70, I used the drum brake control arms, 73 up drop spindles, however if you do this way you will need the upper and lower ball joints, tie rods and center link. I was going all new any way so I did it that way. there is another way to go instead of replacing all of the steering components you can just replace the outer tie rods with newer style, and then there is an adjuster sleeve that is available to adapt from new outer to old inner tie rods. hope this helps
