Alright.. first of all New Member and my first truck!
I've always loved the 67-72 steps and now that I finally picked one up (even though it's a fleet).. it's even worse. So since I'm a beginner.. being my first build and that I'm only 23.. of course I'll have questions, searching for opinions too!
So here goes..
- 1967
- Made in Atlanta (which is kinda cool because I'm not far from its "birth")
- 350 w/ 650 edelbrock - longtubes and side exhaust
Inner Fender Well, Front fender corners and some of the core support. Rusty. Also the floor pans and kick panels, floor pans being the worst of them all.. everything else pretty good shape. Though the bed isn't quite centered, I found out it's about 1/2" over the driver side no biggie. Previous owner (unknown) cut the front frame short and my bumper sits crooked.. WHY!?>

they would cut the frame short just confuses me
When I first picked it up, I had to haul it away. Now I've got it running and it sounds pretty wicked too
I'm to a point where I am stuck, suspension.. frame.. body work.. wiring where do I even begin.
The List:
17" Smooties - Black with a larger dish.
Tubular Arms - probably porters.
2/4 Drop? I'm not sure what it has now.. maybe a 4/4 because the disc/spindles. I'm thinking 4/6 is too low for me, after all the headers are only like 4-5" off the ground.
Considering a LQ9 swap
Remove sliding rear window
I'll need new doors too.. the bottoms/hinge points are pretty rotten
