That would be a big no. There is 2 problems with the 3600 bearings. The first one being that the seal actually rides on the inner part of the inside (big) bearing. The second one being the outer bearing is an odd ball. I haven't found any other bearing used on anything that is the same dimensions.

I bought some MBS tapered roller bearings a few years ago. Good quality stuff even though they are Japanese made.

Federal Mogul (National) still has the ball bearing replacement too. I believe they even supply Timken with the same bearing. Where is it made? I don't know, could be U.S., could be China, could be Mexico. They have plants all over the world.

I got them from these guys, but I'm not for sure they are even made anymore.

I also recommend the Timken seal 40973S over the felt type seal.
