Re: Grinding/Rubbing When Turning While Stopped
The first thing I would do is put the front of the truck up on some jackstands (steering/wheel able to freely turn) and, with the help of a buddy (or your wife) turning the wheel, have the steering turned all left and right and inspect it while they are turning the wheel. Watch/feel/listen for interference, grinding or other problems. Maybe you have some binding and/or interference in the steering components.
This is a good start point....keep us posted and maybe we can troubleshoot from there.
