I just got the control arms sand blasted and I VHT coated them in roll bar satin By far the best finish ever) and last night I finished up the steering knuckles.

Today I picked up a set of front rotors and pads.

I have ball joints on order from Amazon, it's amazing how cheap their prices are for MOOG! I found out that the control arm shafts were worn so I will have to wait until I get some more cheddar in my pocket before I order them
.

I have a question tho... while cleaning up the frame I found the VIN gear box side of the frame. But on the passenger side I found numbers stamped into the side of the frame forward of the engine cradle. Does anyone know what those are for?

I will be posting pics as soon as I can

I takes some time if you do things right. Now is the time to take care of that stuff. I have found if you get in a hurry and over look problems like that you just have to tear it back apart and re-do it when you start driving it.....

I think those numbers are just frame identification numbers for the assembly line. A way to make sure they have the correct frame for the type of truck they were building.
