Re: driveshafts?
I usually advise against setting up a swap just to keep the same DS. Place the engine where it needs to go in the cradle, make the trans xmember position, then worry about the driveshaft.
Depending what tranny your coming from, the o/d tranny might be longer. You don't want to have to put your engine 3" forward just to keep the same DS. They arent' that expensive, and its not a bad idea to get a better one made for that matter. The yolk is also a factor in length, and if it needs to be changed you might as well just have a shaft made.
