my questions are-

are the v8 perches from a 3/4 and 1/2 the same?do i need to buy them for a 1/2 ton? and are they different between 68 and say 69 or 70?

factory driveshaft is still there. will the yoke slide into the th400, or do i need to use the yoke currently in the th400?

as for the transmission crossmember, i have a factory crossmember for a th350 automatic out of a 69.can i use this with the th400 on the 68 frame?

i know with the v8 perches it moves up a hole from the straight 6 engine.i could just jump right into it and notice what i need as i go but man if anyone knows these and could help itd be sweet! i know the answers are somewhere on the board, just beating my head in with 5+ questions.thanks guys
The small block V-8 perches are all the same.

You need to use the TH400 yoke. It is larger in diameter.

I think you can use the TH350 Xmember. I posted some pictures of the two in this thread....

You will have to remove the manual trans Xmember.
