In Minnesota, there is a difference between 'classic' auto insurance and insurance on an older vehicle. A classic car gets you special liscense plates and has the stipulations on mileage and reasons for driving.
Insurance on an older vehicle is like your regular insurance, with the regular plates.

I have mine thru my regular ins company and just take it out for the summer, and have 'garage ins' for the winter.
