I'm a retired Auto Repairman (45yr).
I'm doing this project on a "VERY" low budget.
I'm also doing this to give me something to keep my mind and body going.
Don't want to just set in front of the TV all day.

I started with a rolling Olds 4x4 frame. (150.00)
Did not like the looks of the frame once it was cleaned up with out the motor an trans. Just to many curves in it. (UGLY) pic

Found the 1988 S-10 frame, it was stright and all ready had the 3" lowering blocks in the rear(nice) pic (100.00)

Had the 3/4t bed from a trailer that was given to me afew years ago. pic

Got a hold of a1951 Chevy cab. (200.00)
Tryed to get this whole truck for the project(pic) just could not get it for the price I wanted to give. He wanted (900.00) which is not a bad price just more then I wanted to give. pic.
