I'll keep an ear out for that '58...
I should probably start a build thread. This weekend, I set the timing correctly, adjusted the carb, and did a couple laps around the neighborhood. Oil pressure is low...about 20 psi when running, but when hot, it drops to 5 psi at idle. I pulled the plugs to check them, I was worried as there's a miss and as there's definitely some blowby coming out the vent, 1-5 are perfect. #6 is oily and gunky...well, I thought, that explains that tiny little miss...I cleaned it up, and now that everything is tuned in, and not overheating (the truck had WAY too much advance...) i'll see what happens.
