I looked a seats at swap meets for a couple of years.I found quite a few I liked but not many I would pay asking price for.I went to Charlotte to hang with Tim Christian and found a guy with quite a few sets on sat. I thought he was a litle high on his prices. The set I wanted was marked $150.00.I decided to think about it until sun. morn.
Sun. about noon I wandered by his space and found out he had marked everything down due to a back injury he was getting out of the bussiness.I bought Intrepid seats for $50.00 and the drivers was power.
On the same note, I went to The Pace Swap Meet at Arlington Stadium (near Dallas Tx.) a few years ago and Sun. morn the tank for my Panel was $250.00.4 hours later the same tank was $150.00.So it has been my experience that vendors tend to want to load and tote less home than they have on Sun. afternoon.
