I've always used 3/8-16 x 1" or 1.25" bolts for the brackets (Perches) to the frame and crossmember. The bolt from the bracket (perch) to the engine mount is 7/16-14 x ~1.25". There is supposed to be a heavy large washer between the head and the bracket.
