Newer Tires Scrape Wheel Well

When I got my truck the rear tires were OK, but the fronts were worn down and rounded. So I got some "new to me" tires of the same model as on the rear, "Remington Wide Brute."

With the taller tread and the sharp edges at the outside of the tread, the tires scrape at the rear of the well where the trim strip attaches.

Now I know why the old tires were rounded !!!

Does anybody "cut down" that sharp edge? If so, how? Thanks.
