I just tapped in my inner lip just a little. That allowed enough room to clear when turning. You do have to be careful when turning and going into a driveway, etc (when suspension is moving). You can still rub, but with some awareness when driving, you'll be OK. If you plan to off road any substantial amount, you'll need some more ground clearance or it's going to get annoying!

I did it to my K5 and also my 04' Yukon XL 2500...same inner fender, front wheelwell.
