I'm not looking to put significant load on the trans or effect street manners too much, just give it a bit more pep down low at WOT. My 4l60e came from the same car as the motor, approx 60k miles. I am using the largest trans cooler I could find.

Again, its not particularly for racing, but I would be happy if it shaved a few tenths off my 1/4 time. It just feels like it takes far too long to get into the power band, especially from a roll at 35 or so.

I'm looking for something akin to the "corvette converter" swap that is popular with TH350/400s. A few hundred RPM higher stall than stock and cheap... The yank's and others are a bit spendy with the other needs the truck still has. Of course, I could always wait a bit and pony up.
