Wife and I have a '99 Tahoe, have had it since '06. Been pretty good ride altho have changed the fuel pump/sender once and the multi-port (?) fuel manifold or spider. Toying with the idea of up-grading to newer Tahoe with 3rd seat. Any problems with the newer Tahoes mechanicals to stay away from? Also, we have had three Suburbans, 1 with tailgate and two with the barn doors. Current Tahoe has barn doors but don't seem to see any newer ones with the barn doors which we would prefer. Did GM quite producing them, all I see is the drop down, lift up hatch style 'gates? If GM quit producing them, at about what time frame? Thanks.
