Re: 196? crew cab

Most likely there is a reason it's been sitting so long:
A it isn't for sale
B it's not going to be bought for "scrap metal" pricing
C the owner is going to "fix it up someday"

You can thank all these fantastic car shows for the convoluted prices on old vehicles. The market here in the midwest is a bit repressed from other regions, just not ringing the big bucks everyone is asking, these days.

Also funny to note that the comments from those who can't buy it are "not worth much" but if it were their's, they'd be asking premium price.
Not based on condition, but on what it is, I would think if it could be bought for $1000 it would be a deal. I am sure certain conversions are worth more than others, depending on who did them. It has to be considered, when setting a value that GM NEVER made a single truck like this- they were all done in the aftermarket, so in a sence, they are all custom builds.
I've done a crew cab cnversion, and as most do, I also got in way over my head and came close to basically ruining 2 good trucks. I recoverd and finished the truck enough to sell it. The amount of work involved is tremendous and the detail work is what will make or break it.
