1. There is a market for everything (Ebay proves that).
2. If you save it, somebody will want it (eventually).
3. Demand for OE parts will (almost) always outpace supply.
4. As soon as you toss it, you or somebody will need it.
5. If you have the space, keep it.
6. If you live outside the "rust belt", you're spoiled. 
7. You won't get rich, but that's not the point, it's a hobby and a great way to make friends.
