85 SM465 Transmission swap question
I am looking to swap out the transmission on my 85 C20 2WD from a SM465 manual to a better highway manual. I know you guys know these trucks. What would mate up to the 5.7L SBC 350 with more highway gears? Any suggestions?
What transmissions were available for NON-hydraulic clutches for the 350? Possibly one off a malibu, el camino, C10, or other? PLEASE HELP.
