Yes, I just fed regulated compressed air to the gauge being tested. And adjusted the regulator pressure while comparing the reading on the regulator's gauge to the reading on the oil gauge being tested. I used a scrap section of stock oil line (that already had the correct compression fitting for the gauge) along with some adapter fittings to join the other end to the compressed air line.
