These trucks were built to haul those behemoth campers. I had one of those I hauled around on a 1979 GMC High Sierra K25. A 1976 Conestoga Camper. It was 19.5 feet from tip to stern, and hung almost 2 feet out the back of the truck. I don't know how much it weighed, but it HAD to be over a ton.
